I offer a respectful and confidential space in which to explore your life and talk about your current concerns. I will not give advice or judge you, but listen carefully and attempt, through my questions and reflections, to help you make sense of your situation and identify opportunities for change.

I obtained my Masters Degree and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling at The Minster Centre, where I now teach. As a relational integrative therapist, I have been trained in a range of theories and approaches which I incorporate into my work. I place particular emphasis on relationships, past and present, and some of the approaches and theories that influence my work are: existential, Jungian, humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment and body psychotherapy.

I have been in private practice for over ten years and have worked with clients of different ages and backgrounds, including many whose first language is not English. These are some of the issues that I have had experience of dealing with: life transitions, divorce, bereavement, relationship problems, understanding family dynamics, anxiety, depression, loneliness, identity issues, feeling different, life crisis, low self-esteem, desire to understand dreams.

I am also a clinical supervisor and work with individuals and small groups. For further information about supervision, please visit my BACP profile.

I am a member of the UKCP and the BACP and abide by their guidelines with regard to ethics and confidentiality. In accordance with these guidelines, my work is regularly supervised, I am insured and I am committed to ongoing professional development.

  • About Therapy

    broken image

Psychotherapy offers the opportunity to discuss your concerns in a calm, confidential setting, with a trained professional who will ask questions, make observations and help you explore your situation without judgement or shame. Many people, individuals and couples alike, find that it is a relief to talk openly with someone who is not a family member or friend and it can be a transformational experience.

Sessions last 50 minutes and take place once a week at a regular time. You are welcome to contact me to discuss your situation without obligation and to arrange an initial session.

I see clients for face-to-face sessions in Hackney and Finsbury Park and I also work online.

  • Location & Accessibility

I practise from Strides Highbury Counselling Centre in Finsbury Park N4 3JD, where there is a ground floor accessible room, and Space To Be You in Hackney E8 4SA, where the room is accessible via stairs only. I am also available for remote sessions via Zoom.
